Oak
(Trees)
Growth and learning
An oak tree represents strength, growth, and longevity relating to affairs of the heart or family affairs. Anything wrong with the tree will help you to see where issues are arising within a branch of your family. Oak furniture will link with past family ties, it might be worth looking back over family issues to help with new ones.
The strength of the family unit!

Oar
(Boat/Water)
An oar provides a symbol of your using your own strength to propel yourself forward, even when you are challenged by your emotions. Perhaps you do not usually let your emotions stand in the way of making progress but losing or breaking an oar whilst you are rowing can symbolise the loss of this coping technique.

Is someone putting their ore in? (Meddling in your business)

Obese
Baggage is weighing you down and holding you back. This could also describe when you are indulging too much in something else that isn't very healthy for you. Food is used to create your satisfaction and fulfilment in life, therefore, it could represent the feeling of being loved, spoiled or being overindulged. This type of symbol may, of course, connect to your physical weight and have a literal meaning, but if it is someone else who is really big in your dream then the symbolism will be for them.
Too much of something.

You are bigger than your problems!
Be the bigger person?

Object
Objects of any kind can refer to the object of your desire, so translate the actual object, but if it is a composite object made up of different things so that you can't really tell what it is, then this shows your own confusion about what you really want.

Objecting about something in a dream can be a literal description of something in your life that you object to, either treatment or an injustice.

Obscure
If something is obscured in your dream it is because you do not have the complete picture or all the information to make a clear judgment. Things that are out of your reach will often be obscured from your vision in dreams, but you may have an idea of what is being hidden from you already.

Obstacle
(Accomplish/Danger/Obstacle Dreams)
Any type of obstacle that appears in your dream, represents opposition, obstructions, and delays on your chosen path. You need to find a way to negotiate these obstacles in any way that you can, going over, under and around them using the strength and skills that you have acquired from negotiating previous obstacles and hurdles. This is what helps you to progress and grow as an individual and become stronger in character.
Get on with it!
Get over it!

Occupation
(Job/Sack and Redundancy/Work)
If your own occupation filters into your dream then the other dream symbols might refer to your working life rather than your personal life.

The school of life?

Ocean
(Journey/Sea/Water)

(Ocean/Water)
(Giant Wave Dream)
(Tsunami Dream)
Water describes the emotions, and therefore oceans can represent the vast emotional wilderness that you must navigate. The ocean is full of life and this helps you to understand that life is like an ocean, most of it goes on underneath the surface. Oceans can sometimes be used to describe an emotional distance between you and another person. Salty water represents mixed feelings, tears, and healing.

Octopus
An Octopus will connect to the emotions because it is a water creature.

Somebody with wandering hands?
Someone who could lend a hand?

Odours
(Smell)
Bad smells in your dream can warn you that 'something' is going bad, or it could also represent a person who you do not need in your life, they are like a bad smell. A nice smell describes someone who is a breath of fresh air.

Smells can link you with memories good or bad and they can link you with people who have passed on, in this case, they just want to be remembered.

Office
(Structures)
Dreaming of an office probably relates to your working life or to the work that you do for other people spiritually. What is going on in the office offers more symbolism and might be more important toward the translation. An office is considered a place of occupation and ordered responsibility. Being 'in office' shows that you are in charge and must dictate how things should go.

Something being old usually links with the past, old problems or memories that haven’t completely gone away. Revisiting an old home, workplace or school in a dream represents how you revisit past events or places that have been important to you and your learning. Perhaps you have unfinished business to take care of, maybe you thought your work was finished but there is still more to do. Your ideas are not current; they are outdated and need a revamp.

The spherical shape links with the ‘whole’ or getting the complete picture. Sometimes onions symbolise tears, but onions have healing properties because they absorb the negative.

Open
Any opening suggests that a way forward is available.
Being open to progress.

Opera
(Music/Singing/Theatre)
Take note of the theme of the opera to help in your translation. Using operatic binoculars to watch a performance is used to describe when you 'watch closely' all the drama and theatricals that go on around you, maybe consider the finer details and don't take sides.
Life is like an opera with all its theatricals.
Watching events play out from near or far.

Organ
(Energy/Music/Piano)

Vibration
A piano or an organ creates spiritual vibrations and this type of symbol can help you to understand the vibrations that are needed to produce harmony, this will link with your ability to get in-tune with the people around you, or with those in the spirit world, whichever is appropriate. Symbolism can also be taken from if or not you can create harmonic music in the dream, this will translate the notion that to create harmony you must practice and this takes time. If someone else is playing the organ in your dream, think about if it is being played well or not, when music is played badly it will represent the mayhem and chaos. An organ often connects with a church and choir and should make you think about if the spiritual vibration you get from your beliefs creates balance and harmony within you. Or does it create more questions that are not properly answered for you?

Orgy
(Sex)
There are too many people involved in the personal relationship part of your life, you cannot decide what you want or who.

Tying to connect with the spiritual realms?

Oven
(Energy/Cooking/Kitchen)

(Machinery)
In dreams, ovens can help to explain how you use your own energy to create sustenance for other people, or how you need it for yourself and your own comfort. The warmth that is created by an oven symbolises your own warmth towards others or the warmth they have for you. If the oven is broken then there may be problems in your ability to give other people what they want from you or for them to give you what you need. Ovens also help to tell us if something is ready or not. A bun in the oven is usually symbolic of pregnancy.

Depression and feeling under the weather.

Owl
